Our client is a rapidly growing global business and as part of their growth they are implementing Oracle Fusion as their new ERP which will integrate with other key business systems. As part of that, they are looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst to help collate, cleanse and organise their data from various data sources.
Responsibilities:
- Support MDM Leads to implement master data quality standards and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability.
- Manage MDM request queue for Enterprise Structure and Finance-related master data, ensuring that requests are processed according to service level agreement timescales and necessary governance controls.
- Triage requests and determine the appropriate course of action according to business rules.
- Confirm requirements for hierarchy and mapping table maintenance with business SMEs.
- Maintain master data in business systems in line with rules and standards.
- Document master data processes to cover full lifecycle of activities, ensuring these are modified as the business evolves.
- Work with MDM Leads and business SMEs to review and improve master data processes.
- Develop and implement master data validation checks and routines.
- Ensure master data accuracy through systematic validation procedures.
- Collaborate with external sources and partners for data enrichment where appropriate.
- Assist in troubleshooting master data quality issues and anomalies.
- Provide operational insights for master data improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute master data cleansing routines.
- Collaborate with data owners, requesters and subject matter experts to identify and resolve master data issues
Experience:
- 1-2yrs experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally Finance and Ideally involving an ERP system
- MDM experience highly desirable but at least an understanding of what MDM is
- Previous experience of collating, organising and cleansing data for systems
- Able to be in BS31, Bristol 2-3 days per week and otherwise work remotely.
This is an initial 12 month FTC due to the immediate needs of the role and business potentially changing at which point permanent work may be available.
