Junior Estimator - Tunnelling Services

Our client, a leading specialist in tunnelling services, renowned for delivering complex and challenging underground construction projects across the industry, are seeking a Junior Estimator to join their team.

As the Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for supporting the estimating team by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various design and build tunnelling projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and design documentation to understand scope and requirements
• Work closely with senior estimators, design engineers, and project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals and client expectations
• Research and source materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs specific to design and build projects
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of tender documents and proposals
• Maintain up-to-date records of project estimates, designs, and revisions
• Participate in site visits, design meetings, and client consultations to gather information and insights

Junior Estimator - Tunnelling Services

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Previous experience in construction and estimating
