Role Overview:

Our growing business, with a £40 million turnover and a clear five-year plan to reach £100 million, is seeking a driven Finance Analyst to join our finance team. The role involves supporting the month-end close process, preparing journals, handling revenue accounting, and contract reading. This is an excellent opportunity for someone studying (or wishing to continue studying) in finance and looking to advance their career. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end journals and assist with the production of financial reports
• Review contracts and manage revenue accounting processes
• Perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with other teams within the finance department to ensure smooth operations
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and support business decisions based on financial data

Essential Experience:

• Experience with month-end processes and revenue accounting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite
• Currently studying or looking to continue studies in finance (ACCA, CIMA, AAT)
• Comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting tools
• Experience with contract analysis and working with financial data
