Description

As a KYC analyst you will be our 1st line of defence and ensuring that you have mitigated AML risks across a wide variety of clients and account portfolios. We support our team with full training to equip you to provide a high level of service on behalf of our clients and we will support you with on-the-job learning whenever you are actively engaged with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out KYC due diligence reviews in a timely manner to high quality standards
• Good knowledge on provisions of local laws, directives, regulations and otherwise standards applicable to subject persons and knowledge of upcoming regulation of virtual currency policies is a strong plus
• Good proficiency in conducting risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews, open source research and enhanced due diligence
• Actively identify opportunities to improve the KYC process and procedures; including the strengthening controls and improving efficiency.
• Drive to build knowledge within the Anti-Money Laundering sector and to understand the rationale for underlying policy requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within the financial services sector
• Experience in a risk, compliance, fraud, operation or regulatory functions is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of UK and EU AML regulatory frameworks and related legislation.
• AML or KYC related industry qualifications are a plus
• Self-motivation and the ability to work within the regulatory standards while focusing on excellence in customer experience
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Professional and structured approach working with both clients and internal stakeholders
