Junior Level Service Desk Support (Level 1) - Security Clearance Required

We are seeking a Junior Level Service Desk Support Staff (Level 1) to join a prestigious government department project through a leading global IT services provider. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level IT professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Location: London (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office)Contract: 6 months (Inside IR35)Rate: £160-£180 per daySecurity Clearance Required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage and categorise support requests efficiently
  • Provide first-line support to end users, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues independently and escalate where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider IT team to ensure seamless issue resolution
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a Service Desk / IT Support role (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
