In this office based role, your responsibilities will include collaborating with Electrical, Electronic, Controls and Software Engineers to integrate sensors, instrumentation and controls using embedded programming languages such as C/ C++. Working collaboratively, you will be trained by senior staff on how best to implement solutions, learning a unique skillset to become a technical expert.

They have carved out a profitable niche, designing patent protected products that generate extremely pure gas for laboratory applications. With over 700 internal staff, they are looking for a Junior Mechatronics Engineer to take their business to the next level

This role would suit a Junior Mechatronics Engineer, someone with knowledge of Electrical Controls or PLC Programming, looking to work collaboratively with senior Engineers to become a technical expert for a company on the cutting edge of scientific advancement.

The Role:

• Integrating sensors, actuators and control systems for laboratory gas generators
• Designing and programming control systems from scratch using C/C++ and MATLAB
• Working alongside experienced Controls Engineers to integrate, debug and test systems
• Comprehensive training to become a technical expert

• Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible hours available)

The Person:

• Graduate/HND in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation or Controls Engineering
• Knowledge of PLC / Control System Programming
• Ability to program in C, C++
