Junior Merchandiser

We are seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join a forward-thinking company in the fashion industry. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for streetwear fashion and trends, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in merchandising, particularly within online retail or textile/clothing manufacturing.
Day to Day of the role:
- Prepare and analyse weekly, quarterly, and seasonal trade and inventory performance reports.
- Conduct post-event and promotion analyses to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- Compile in-depth seasonal product reviews and forecast trends to inform product development.
- Conduct monthly website analyses and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform competitive analyses to support product, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Develop assortment plans based on Open-To-Buy parameters and prepare product selection for orders.
- Prepare seasonal buy review presentations and manage post-order confirmation processes.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop launch-specific plans and coordinate with operations for delivery schedules.
- Evaluate in-season buy adjustments and oversee allocations to e-commerce channels.
- Plan and execute replenishments and prepare monthly inventory progression reports.
- Strategise promotions and discounts to meet revenue and inventory objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in merchandising, inventory management, or retail analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel or similar analytical tools.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
