Job Description :

A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join one of the most exciting and ambitious national financial advisory firms as a Junior Paraplanner / IFA Administrator at their office in Kibworth.

Job Skills

· Strong previous administration background

· Excellent organisational skills

· Able to self-manage their day

· Self-starter

· Works well to deadlines

· Ability to track work and provide chasers to ensure work is completed efficiently in a timely manner

· Telephone skills, both incoming and outgoing

· Works well under pressure and able to reorganise their day to meet urgent requests from the team

· Works well in a team as well as on their own

· Takes initiative when completing tasks

· Willing to learn new skills and develop more complex financial administration skills over a 12-18 month period

· Report writing and research

Tasks

· Issuing reports and letters, completed by the team to clients.

· Completing application forms on behalf of clients.

· Issuing forms to clients and sending completed forms to providers.

· Actioning post received in the office and via head office.

· Business submissions.

· Annual Review submissions.

· Chasing outstanding applications/transfers/other work

· Tracking outstanding submissions

· Preparing packs for client meetings

· Manage a diary chasing system

· Issuing letters of authority to providers, tracking receipt of form by provider and chasing required information.

· Housekeeping of in house system.

· Filing, scanning and general housekeeping

The successful applicant will have

· A minimum of 1 year of financial services experience.

· Level 4 Diploma or working towards.

· Ability to engage with colleagues and clients of all backgrounds.

· Excellent organisational skills.
