Junior Property Manager position at Scanlans Property Management

Working Hours – 09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday

We manage properties throughout the Midlands and North West from our offices in Manchester and Birmingham, as well as in Liverpool, Leeds and the Greater Yorkshire area and Chester. Our professional property managers are fully trained and qualified Members of the TPI and Assoc RICS.
The role of Junior Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of developments based within the UK.

What will your role look like?
- Maintenance & Contractor Management – Handle maintenance requests, source and oversee contractors, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Customer Relations & Communication – Manage customer queries, complaints, and meetings while maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Financial & Budget Management – Work with accounts, prepare service charge budgets, and communicate variances to customers.
- Property Inspections & Compliance – Conduct inspections, ensure health & safety compliance, and oversee industry legislation adherence.
- New Business & Client Management – Source new business opportunities and maintain relationships with developers to generate growth.
- Teamwork & Project Management – Collaborate with in-house teams, support colleagues, approve invoices, and manage ad-hoc projects.
Do you have these skills?
- Experience & Knowledge: Must have residential property management experience and an understanding of leasehold property legislation.
- Customer Service & Communication: Proven track record in customer service with excellent written and oral English skills.
- IT Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required; advanced knowledge and Qube system experience desirable.
- Business & Financial Skills: Budgeting, account management, contract management, and negotiation skills are beneficial.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, ability to liaise with various stakeholders, and a desire for growth and development.
- Qualifications: Ideally A-Level educated, GCSE A-C in English, IRPM accreditation desirable, and customer service qualifications beneficial.
