Job Description :

The FirmOur client, a Top 40 law firm in Guildford, is seeking a Junior Team Assistant to join their team, responsible for delivering the highest level of service to Partners and Fee Earners.

The OpportunityThe successful Junior Team Assistant will be accountable for establishing and maintaining ongoing service-based relationships with their team. They will perform a range of administrative and file management tasks as requested by Partners, Fee Earners, and members of the secretarial team, to include:

  • Updating service users on progress and status of tasks where appropriate
  • Supporting the Compliance & Risk Team with the completion of client due diligence
  • Creating new files and maintain and update existing files
  • Dealing with internal and external postal deliveries and arrange couriers' services
  • Working effectively and efficiently on the Practice Management System to log and record documents
  • File closing and the processing of archiving and retrieval
  • Completing searches at the request of Partners, Fee Earners and secretarial team
  • Photocopying, printing, scanning, binding, and filing tasks
  • Supporting the Finance team by ensuring receipts, cheques and bills are correctly loaded onto the system
  • Any ad hoc duties as requested by the business

This Junior Team Assistant opportunity is full time role, working Monday - Friday, 9:15am -5:30pm

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months' administration experience
  • GCSEs graded A to C to include maths and English (or equivalent level of qualification)
  • CILEX qualification (desirable)
