Junior Town Planner - Exciting Opportunity in Bristol

The Role: As a Junior Town Planner, you will play a key role in supporting a range of planning projects, working alongside a team of experienced professionals. You'll gain exposure to a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, providing advice to clients and assisting in securing planning permissions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation of planning applications, reports, and statements
• Conducting site appraisals and planning policy research
• Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders
• Contributing to strategic planning advice
• Working on development plans, impact assessments, and feasibility studies

About You: We're looking for a proactive and motivated individual with:

• A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field (or working towards it)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Some experience in planning or a related role (internships, placements, or relevant academic work experience are advantageous)
• A keen interest in planning policy, development control, and sustainable urban design
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A passion for contributing to the shaping of the built environment
