We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our successful team. Our company is a leading specialist in automation components, systems, and services, with a strong commitment to safety.
The Role:
- Develop and manage key accounts across a diverse range of industries.
- Drive sales growth for our portfolio of products and services, including training, consulting, engineering, and technical support.
- Generate new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals for machinery safety solutions (risk assessments, PUWER assessments, CE/UKCA marking).
- Conducted market research, attended industry events, and represented the company at exhibitions.
- Provide expert technical advice and support to customers.
- Covering the M62 Corridor.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven sales experience in safety-related automation technology (safety relays, controllers, PLCs, light curtains, interlocks, software).
- Strong understanding of machinery safety standards and regulations (e.g., PUWER, CE/UKCA).
- Technical knowledge of automation systems and components.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to travel extensively within the UK.
This is a home-based position requiring national coverage.
