Description of the role:
- Manage and maintain existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service.
- Develop new accounts and expand business across various end users and applications.
- Regular customer visits, attendance at trade shows, and close collaboration with customers to introduce new technical innovations.
- Work alongside the technical development team to identify and deliver product advancements.
- Oversee sales administration and customer-facing processes, including managing one sales administrator.
- Collaborate with internal departments for effective order handling and production scheduling.
- Monitor and review sales prices, ensuring profit margins are maintained.
- Assist in preparing annual sales budgets and setting pricing strategies for new products.
- Utilise company software to analyse data and drive improvements in account management.
About you:
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Experience within technical products/manufacturing.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Leadership experience, particularly in managing a team.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
