The role:

• Responsible for the management of a key account (as deemed by the company) from receipt of order to the service department.
• Support and assist the Regional Director & Service Manager by collating MI and attending meetings for example.
• Performance criteria are met such as overseeing and managing KPI’s and contractual requirements.
• Be the single point of contact for Key Account customers.
• Take an active role in ensuring the customer receives the highest possible level of service whilst also balancing the needs of the business.
• Promote the company culture and ethos.

The successful candidate:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in Key Account Management preferred.
• Have a basic knowledge of service contracts and detailed knowledge of operation.
• Have an understanding of Key Account Contracts - basic contract terms such as "caps", "discounts", "Standard", "Comprehensive" etc and be able to monitor items such as financial performance, KPI’s, penalty liability.
• Have ability to communicate with all levels of management both in writing and orally.
• Should be I.T. competent and familiar with all standard Microsoft packages. As a minimum a basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
• Should possess managerial skills or be willing to work towards this.
