Position: Part-Time Year 1 Teacher (Job Share)Location: North ChesterfieldContract Type: Part-Time (2 days per week)Days: Monday and TuesdayStart Date: February 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our small, welcoming primary school in North Chesterfield. This part-time role involves working in a job share with an experienced and well-established member of staff, teaching a Year 1 class.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Teach phonics to support early reading and writing development.
• Collaborate effectively with your job share partner to ensure continuity of learning and progress for pupils.
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports every child's needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics instruction.
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and engaging with pupils.
• A passion for supporting young learners in their academic and personal development.

• A small, single-form entry primary school with a strong community ethos.
• Located in North Chesterfield with a friendly and supportive team environment.
