Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to the needs of all students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to enjoy learning and to perform to the best of their abilities.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing reports and communicating with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress and needs.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and participate in regular meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching practices and share insights.
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote student responsibility, cooperation, and mutual respect in line with the school’s ethos.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Key Stage 2 Teacher.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and positive learning environment.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
