Key Worker (2 Roles Available)

Burns Court - 2 x Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week

Burns Court is a 10 bed (individual self contained flats) unit with a staff office, located in Maltby, Rotherham. The service has recently been re commissioned by RDaSH to deliver housing related support to ensure individuals with primary Mental Health needs, have access to safe, comfortable homes.

The team would work closely with the Assertive Outreach Team (AOT) in Rotherham, attending Multi Disciplinary meetings and providing holistic support. Customers would be supported for a period of up to two years, with the emphasis to move on into an independent living space.

We are seeking two enthusiastic and innovative Key Workers to work at our mental health supported housing project in Rotherham. We provide accommodation, advice and support to our customers with enduring mental health issues.

The role of Key Worker includes supporting our customers to develop the skills necessary to maximise their independence.

The successful candidate would need to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and risks our customers experience and an understanding of how to develop plans of support to overcome these.

Show enthusiasm about helping others, be approachable and encouraging with customers to achieve their goals

Possess a positive "Can Do" solution focused attitude to fit in with a small team and build on the successes of this excellent A rated service.
