Are you passionate about food and looking for a role where you can make a real difference? We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in preparing and delivering high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Food Preparation – Assist in preparing meals efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness – Keep the kitchen, equipment, and appliances clean and hygienic.
  • Deliveries & Storage – Receive, check, and store kitchen supplies properly.
  • Food Safety – Follow safe food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Presentation – Ensure all kitchen areas are well-maintained and presentable.
  • Teamwork – Support the chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
  • Health & Safety – Comply with safety regulations and care home policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Organisational Skills – Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a busy kitchen.
  • Food Safety Knowledge – Basic understanding of food handling procedures.
  • Attention to Detail – Ensuring hygiene and storage standards are met.
  • Communication Skills – Working effectively with kitchen staff and management.
  • Team Player – A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in a kitchen or food prep role (preferred but not essential).
  • Familiarity with food hygiene and safety regulations (training provided).
