## Job Description**Kitchen Operative****Salary: £12.75 per hour (£26,520 per year) plus excellent company benefits****Day Shift details: working Monday - Friday from 08:00am until 17:00pm, withan element of flexibility required during peak season****40 Hours per week****Bicester, Oxfordshire**Exciting opportunity for you to join our Production colleagues based at FreshKitchen (Sysco) site in Bicester. Youll be handling, prepping & weighingingredients ready for manufacture.As Kitchen Operative you will be in contact with vegetables, meats, fish, andvarious mixes. Youll be following a recipe to cook in various methods from ina brat pan, oven or large kettle, please note this may need physical manualstirring and mixing. You can also expect this position to involve lifting,bending, stretching, and standing depending on the area you are allocated.Youll have a commitment to ensure production areas are always clean andpresentable adopting a ‘clean as you go” approach.As a team we follow the dailyweekly production plan that is in line with aproduction schedule, following the production systems, procedures, andpolicies. Youll support with Support dailyweeklymonthly stock takes.Leaving a traceable account of activity by completing the necessary paperworkin particular ensuring items are clearly batch coded and stock rotated.To join us in this role you will have good powers of concentration andobservation with an ability to pay attention to detail even when tasks arerepetitive. Youll be a team player and take responsibility for quality,legality and safety of the food manufactured. Working conditions vary you canexpect to carry out duties in both a cold or hot production area, full PPEwill be provided. Youll need to have excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
