KS1 Class Teacher - Tradewind Recruitment : Job Details

Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a KS2 Primary Teacher on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school located in the borough of Croydon.

This London based primary school are looking for a qualified teacher to cover a year 5 class for the whole academic year. The role will involve some planning due to the nature of the start date being at the start of the academic year.

About the role:

• Prepare and deliver KS2 lessons
• Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
• Work alongside the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are effective
• Differentiate learning materials to ensure each pupil benefits
• Attend weekly staff meetings

Requirements:

• Must have UK recognised QTS
• Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
• Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
• Have a willingness to enhance the school's ethos
• Able to work effectively with colleagues, children and external agencies
• Must be available full-time and long-term from September
