We are excited to be offering the opportunity to join our amazing school as a Teacher and Trainee SENCO. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced KS1 teacher looking to develop in our school as well as our specialised provision within our SEND base. The trainee will teach in the mainstream school while training as a SENCO and will safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people within the school, in collaboration with the SENCO.
The SEND base supports learners with a wide range of needs, including high level needs such as MLD and ensures an enriching and purposeful education is provided.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for a skilled teacher to make an impact within our school. In collaboration with colleagues, you will deliver outstanding teaching to every child, in every classroom, every day.

Beacon Academy is situated in Loughborough, with approximately 395 children on roll including a Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) resource unit and a Nursery. Staff and families are working enthusiastically with the new leadership, as it has vision, integrity and rigour. Beacon has a huge potential and a commitment to rapid improvement.
