The successful daily cover KS1 teacher will need to:

• Be an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education
• Have the ability and experience of teaching in KS1 areas with good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary
• Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team

The schools in Harrow vary from two to four form entry and are Ofsted rated between good and outstanding. The schools provide great leadership teams who will offer excellent support system for the KS1 teacher.

The KS1 Teacher must ensure that the behaviour policy is fully implemented across KS1, and adhered to throughout the schools, resulting in pupils being aware of expectations.
