Academics is looking for a highly committed and passionate KS1 Teacher to join them from September, on a long-term contract. This is a full-time role and there is the potential for this role to turn permanent for September 2025.

We are seeking a highly committed and passionate KS1 Teacher who is eager to build on their current teaching skills while ensuring that contemporary, dynamic teaching methods are fully implemented to make sure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. ECTs and experienced Teachers with QTS are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be required to teach KS1 as well as promote and safe guard the welfare of all children.

Qualifications/ Experience

  • QTS
  • UK experience
  • Graduate of a recognised British University or international equivalent. A postgraduate qualification in education would be desirable.
  • Commitment to develop as a classroom practitioner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding classroom practitioner with sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and national expectations and/or proven experience of working successfully as a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher.
  • Integrated and innovative approach to the use of technology in teaching and administration.
