KS1 Teacher - Reed : Job Details

• Daily Rate: £130 - £150
• Location: DN4
• Job Type: Long-term (January to September)

We are seeking a KS1 Teacher to join a lovely small 1 form entry school with classes from nursery up to year 6. This role is part of a multi-academy trust that is committed to fostering children’s independence through innovative teaching methods. The position starts in January and continues on a long-term basis until September.

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils.
• Utilise strong knowledge of the Read Write Inc phonics programme to enhance students’ reading and writing skills.
• Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school community.
• Adapt teaching resources and methods to meet the varying needs and interests of students.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching at KS1 level.
• Strong knowledge of the Read Write Inc phonics programme.
• Ability to plan and deliver creative and effective lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
