KS1 Teacher - Weston-super-mare

Somerset Education Alliance are a multi-award winning supply teaching employment business actively recruiting KS1 Primary School Teachers (ECTs or experienced), to join our friendly, supportive and busy agency for ad hoc supply teaching opportunities and longer term opportunities in Weston-super-mare and the surrounding areas

We are currently seeking a KS1 Teacher to cover at a large primary school in Weston-super-mare to start ASAP.

Please note: Our daily pay rate for teachers as a supply teacher recruitment business starts at £120 but can be negotiated up to £200 based on experience, pay scale and additional responsibilities, and is ultimately at the discretion of school budgets.

KS1 Teacher Responsibilities

- Delivering cover lessons

- Preparing planning

- Following safeguarding and school policies

- Marking work as needed

- Liaising with school staff

KS1 Teacher Essentials

- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)

- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)

- A 3 year minimum reference history

- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum

- Reliability

- Excellent communication skills
