We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a long-term maternity cover in Leeds, starting January 2025 until July 2025, with the possibility of an extension. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, tailoring them to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust lesson plans to ensure all students are supported in their learning journey.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver a cohesive learning experience.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and development.
• Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1 students.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, with the ability to deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and engage with parents.
• A passion for working with young learners, helping them develop both academically and personally.
