Full Time - £33,000 - £37,000 per annum

We are excited to have a vacancy for a SEN KS2 Teacher to join our team at a fantastic, inclusive SEN school in Swindon. Our school educates students with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD and other additional needs so we are looking for a SEN KS2 Teacher that has an understanding of special educational needs. Our school is committed to helping students re-engage with their education and re-ignite their excitement and motivation for learning! We want to welcome a dedicated SEN KS2 Teacher to supporting students as soon as possible!

The school has set their sights on welcoming a new teacher, with the aim of providing children with high standards of education and personalised support, tailored to their needs. As a SEN KS2 Teacher, the role involves planning and delivering a varying curriculum to children with additional needs related to speech, communication, cognitive skills and sensory/physical requirements.

SEN KS2 Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting a class of 4-5 students
• Planning, leading and teaching classroom activities
• Monitoring and recording progress both academically and against EHCP's
• Working closely to keep students engaged, motivated and inspired by linking their personal interests to the curriculum
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants so they can effectively support pupils
