• Salary: £162.31 – £207.38 per day
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (6 weeks minimum)

We are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming school in Heysham. This role requires an immediate start and involves working with a Year 5 class. The position offers a supportive environment and the opportunity to contribute to a teacher’s pension via LCC.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a Year 5 class, adhering to the KS2 curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that cater to the needs of all students, ensuring high levels of progress and achievement.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in school activities and events.
• Maintain up-to-date records of students’ progress, attendance, and any other required documentation.

• Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Recent and relevant teaching experience in KS2.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
