Job Description :

Reed Brighton is thrilled to be working with a holiday specialist in East Sussex who have a new role in the Learning and Development Team! The role will focus on supporting the activities of the team, helping them administer courses, organise training events, schedule training activities, co-ordinating attendees and suppliers, collating feedback and reports and helping administer the Learning Management System.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Managing the scheduling, coordination and communication for Internal or External instructor led training courses/events and general team administration.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for Learner queries and managing the L&D inbox.
  • Administration of Learning Management System and People Portal.
  • Support managers with identify training needs across various sites and head office.
  • Maintaining learning records and generating reports
  • Manage membership requirements and renewals for key roles.
  • Support the coordination and planning of ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.
  • Work with regional teams on conferences and associated learning activity.
  • Develop communications to promote key learning activities and new initiatives.

Requirements of this role:

  • Adapt well to change and can work well on your own as well as with a remote team.
  • The ideal person will have excellent organisational, multi-tasking and planning skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are an essential aspect of the role.
  • Experience of coordinating events and activities or administration is essential but transferable skills from alternative support functions will be considered.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and peers is an essential component of the role.
  • Previous experience in the administration of digital systems in technology related companies being a real advantage.
  • Ability to work autonomously and ensure daily processes are executed in a timely manner and to the highest levels of accuracy.
