Lab Technician - Blue Arrow Livingston : Job Details

Full time role for a Lab technician.

Linlithgow

Hours of work Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 7.30pm

£12.40 per hourDo not need previous experience, training will be given, would suit someone from a factory/production back ground.The right candidate should have :Strong communication skillsTeam playerAble to work under pressureAttention to detailConfident in Microsoft Office packagesJob RoleTo prepare samples for analysis when required.To provide general assistance to Laboratory staff at all levelsTo assist in the preparation of microbiological culture media and record the necessary Quality Control and Performance checks.To work to Express Micro Science's Quality System showing due care and diligence in all activities.To carry out housekeeping duties in line with Cleaning Schedules and other documents as required (including cleaning of equipment, floors, bins, and benches when required)To carry out all washroom duties as required being mindful of the glassware requirements.To dispose of all laboratory waste in accordance with procedures.To report any unsafe or poor working practices in the laboratory
