Land Manager in Renewable EnergyHybrid working system with a Gloucestershire office base.Salary range of £60,000 - 70,000 dependent on experience level.Piper Maddox are working with one of the most reputable developers of solar and battery storage technology in the UK. This goes alongside a current project pipeline of over 10GW spread across 40 connection sites. Our client has put a high value on team collaboration and a particular focus on a three-pronged approach between land, planning, and grid. You would be joining a highly collaborative and innovative team, where clear communication throughout the business is promoted.In your role as a land manager, your position would include:> Identifying suitable pieces of land for renewable energy developments - solar & BESS.> Undergoing the commercial negotiations necessary to complete a land acquisition process.> Managing and maintaining strong and long-lasting landowner partnerships/relationships.> Liaising with the grid & planning teams to ensure full site feasibility.In terms of commercial negotiations, while all aspects of a land acquisition negotiation are important, experience in securing option agreements, as well as working on easements would be very valuable.This would be a fantastic opportunity for a land manager in the renewables sector to undertake a new challenge, or a chartered surveyor with renewables experience looking to move developer-side to be closer to projects.This company also puts a high value on transferable skills - if you are a surveyor in rural space, or work predominantly on large scale utilities projects, it would definitely be worth a discussion!
