Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a highly motivated Land & New Homes Manager to complement our team covering the Glasgow area. Key responsibilities of a Land & New Homes Manager
  • To forge and develop relationships with a broad number of land owners, developers and companies in the area
  • Winning instructions to new sites by securing meetings with developers
  • Gaining and keeping Sole Agency
  • Gathering and maintaining compliance files for AML checks
  • Ensuring the relationships with developer clients is developed and maintained to a high standard
  • Be the central point of contact for the Regional Sales Managers and the Sales Directors
  • To encourage our Estate Agency Branch staff to improve their Land & New Homes business
  • Be aware of any new sites in the area and evaluate potential opportunities for the company
  • Winning instructions for the disposal of development opportunities for land owners in both the private and public sector
  • Secure new homes sales instructions from the developer industry at advantageous and profitable terms
Skills and experience required to be a successful Land & New Homes Manager
  • Experience in New Homes Sales with an Estate Agency or builder / developer
  • Able to build relationships and deliver sales in a target driven environment
  • Outstanding customer care / customer service experience
  • Resilient, positive, organised, numerate and detail oriented
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and act on your own initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate (MS Office, internet, email systems)
  • A proven track record in the acquisition and disposal of development land
  • Experience of undertaking Land and development appraisals and valuations
  • Able to build relationships and deliver sales in a target driven environment
  • A high level of presentation experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel is essential
