LEAD DATA ANALYST - HYBRID (3 days in office) - LONDON

The company are looking for an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join their team, where you'll leverage data to optimise supply chain logistics, streamline warehouse processes, and enhance their operations.
In this role, you'll dive into the heart of their logistics and warehouse management, providing insights that drive operational excellence. With responsibilities spanning across multiple warehouses and delivery points, you'll help them tackle complex challenges, from managing fluctuating demand to optimising delivery routes and minimising waste. Key Responsibilities
- Drive Operational Efficiency: Analyse and optimise key metrics such as delivery times, warehouse capacity, order fulfilment, and logistics. Your data insights will shape our delivery operations, reducing delays, improving cost-efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Warehouse Operations Analysis: Partner with our operations team to align warehouse functions with broader business goals, investigating stock in-bounding, storage optimisation, and other crucial areas to enhance efficiency.
- Data at the Core: Build and maintain advanced data models that illuminate operational complexities, ensuring data accessibility and usability for daily decision-making across logistics and delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with regional managers, general managers, delivery leads, and customer service teams to transform data into clear, actionable strategies for those executing on the ground.
- Real-World Problem Solving: From overcoming last-mile delivery hurdles to resolving warehouse bottlenecks, provide practical, data-backed solutions that directly impact our operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ Years in Data Analytics: Proven experience in analytics within operations or logistics-focused environments like e-commerce, retail, or distribution centres.
- Operational & Logistics Expertise: A deep understanding of last-mile delivery, logistics optimisation, and warehouse management.
- SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills for large dataset analysis and creating complex reports; Python or R knowledge is a plus.
- BI Tools Proficiency: Skilled in tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. Experience with dbt is required, and familiarity with DataBricks is advantageous.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Comfort in navigating operational complexity and presenting clear, effective solutions.
