Lead Azure Data Engineer 12 Month FTC | Databricks | Delta Lake | ADF | Python | Powershell | SQL | Hybrid in London 2/3 days per week | £100,000 + 20% bonus + benefits

Method Resourcing are proud to have partnered with a prestigious financial institution who have an exclusive client base of high wealth individuals.

The role: Youwill play a lead role in ensuring that data is accessible, secure, and efficiently processed for analysis and actionable insights. You will use your deep technical skills to build their platform technical roadmap alongside the design, development and support of the suite of data services that are critical to the company's data strategy. You will ensure the data platform services are stable and secure in order to provide high quality, trusted data across the organization.

Your skillset will include:

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud data technologies (e.g. Azure DataFactory, Purview, Databricks, Hyperscale/Synapse and ETL framework design/development)
• Experience of leading a data platform/team.
• Experience in translating business strategy into technical strategy and delivery roadmaps.
• Experience of owning and delivering complex cloud and on prem data integration solutions from design through to operational support.
• Experience in implementation and adoption of software delivery lifecycle processes and best practice.
• A range of experience and knowledge relating to data technologies used to govern, extract, refine and present data, such as: Cloud data/analytics practices and approaches e.g Data Lake, Delta Lake. Enterprise data integration technologies - e.g Python, Powershell. Deep SQL expertise to design, develop and optimise data pipelines
