Lead C and I Technician - H9 Technical Recruitment : Job Details

H9 Technical Recruitment are hiring for a Lead C and I Technician to work at our clients RREC in Glasgow to be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, planning and delivery of maintenance activities, replacement and repair of the control and instrumentation equipment

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide overall support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills.
• Assisting in the co-ordination and management of contracts and contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, the Lead C&I Technician will be responsible for supporting outage planning and management of site projects, whilst driving health and safety culture and ensuring the efficient running of the site

Skills and Qualifications:

• An understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety issues.
• Knowledge of repair methods of C&I Equipment
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and work management systems
• Knowledge of the creation of detailed scopes of work/Engineering Specifications ready to be sent out to tender.
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) including recognised trade specific apprenticeship
