We’re looking for someone that likes to: 

• Influence and provide advisory to business divisions and group functions regarding data product processes, operations and governance in accordance with regulatory requirements and data management and general technology needs.
• Lead and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including regular briefings and running sessions across collaborative teams.
• Lead data modelling, lead the design and implementation of new processes, governance and controls.
• Design and drive requirement and gap analysis to identify procedure, risk management and training needs.
• Coach and upskill junior colleagues in data management (eg data quality, metadata, reference data) and operating data management brand-new processes.
• Envision and collaborate with other teams to deliver new control frameworks

Your role

You'll be working as part of the Group Data Management Office, a global team approximately 300 employees. We are responsible for embedding a data management culture across the business to improve Data Governance, by advocating for our strategy and proactively challenging the way the firm works with data. You will interface with Data Governance and IT teams within the business divisions to achieve these outcomes.

Your team

• Experience in a similar role in data management and/ or architecture.
• Evidenced experience in identifying and documenting stakeholder needs into requirements, particularly for data catalogs, glossary and/ or data controls.
• Experience within project or risk management change environment.
• Recognised strong communicator, with excellent written and oratory ability
• Agile and change management practitioner.
• Enthusiasm to identify, learn and coach others in new data, modelling and risk processes.
