Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure for a prestigious banking institution. This role will focus on leveraging AWS services to enhance scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS-based infrastructure.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Utilize tools like Ansible, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD to automate deployments and infrastructure management.
  • Containerization: Oversee the deployment and scaling of containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters within AWS.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain efficient CI/CD workflows tailored to AWS environments using tools like CodePipeline and ArgoCD.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Deploy and manage monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus) to ensure system performance and uptime.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption, while adhering to strict banking regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring best practices in cloud operations and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaboration: Partner with development, architecture, and IT operations teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
  • DevOps Proficiency:
    • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.
    • Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
    • Expertise in CI/CD tooling, including AWS CodePipeline and ArgoCD.
  • Security-Focused: Strong understanding of AWS security services (e.g., IAM, KMS, GuardDuty) and best practices for compliance.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading and mentoring teams in a DevOps capacity.
  • Programming and Scripting: Strong skills in Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks.
