LEAD PRICING ANALYST (PRICE COMPARISON)

THE COMPANY

The successful Lead Pricing Analyst (Price Comparison)you'll be working in a collaborative team at a leading insurer. Due to growth, they are making a few additional hires to bulk out their pricing function with a specific focus on best utilising price comparison data.

THE ROLE

The role involves analysing, optimising, and turning price comparison data into clear and engaging narratives, contributing to the development of propensity, behavioural, and pricing models, supporting BI and analytics teams with data, offering strategic guidance to marketing and pricing teams, and carrying out market, competitor, and behavioural analysis.

More specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Understanding market trends as well as competitive advantages, aiding the product development process
• Building new pricing models whilst also reviewing and improving existing models, working with the insurance product team
• Regularly negotiating the pricing of new products, whilst consistently reviewing and updating
• Regularly reviewing conversation rates, loss ratios, with suggestions regarding rate reviews

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Lead Pricing Analyst (Price Comparison) will have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive insurance experience, with specific exposure to price comparison data
• Excellent communication skills as you will be regularly communicating with both internal teams and external insurance companies
• Partial actuary qualifications are preferable
• Strong SQL skills with coding experience, with Python/R/SAS being desirable
• Strong ability to write, own and develop pricing models from scratch

THE BENEFITS

The successful Lead Pricing Analyst (Price Comparison) will receive a base salary of up to £65,000 and a generous benefits package.
