Lead Project Manager - Addition : Job Details

We are looking to recruit a Lead Project Manager : Live Sports (Visuals/ Signage). This is an excellent opportunity to join a Global Company who operate at the focal point of sports, music, entertainment and culture, serving talent, brands and properties across the world!

What You Can Expect

• Location - North Carolina, United States
• Salary - Up to $85,000
• Work Type - Fixed term contract for 22 months

Main Responsibilities as a Lead Project Manager : Live Sports (Visuals/ Signage)

• Managing a team of Look Managers (Responsible for Signage, Visuals, Banners, Sponsorships etc.), combined with oversight of Installation and Venue Managers during key installation periods.
• Manage the change control and updating process of requests from FIFA.
• Daily tasking of the venue management team.
• Work closely with programme manager to understand the wider project programme, deadlines and milestones, and plan the actions of your team accordingly.
• Align the schedule & responsibilities for scoping requirements, ensuring all the team are training and prepared to do the task in hand.
• Responsible for all project areas: design, production, installation and derig.
• Responsible to assess all venue operations: feasibility, scope, risks, budget, asset listing, on site management, H&S.
• Provide motivation, support and leadership to maintain project momentum.

Core Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of site operations and brand opportunities (how to get things done).
• Direct work experience in a project management capacity or equivalent.
• Proven experience in people management, including leadership, delegation and influencing.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, organisation and problem solving with great attention to detail in multi-sport international events.
• Proven knowledge and experience in design of Look, Signage and Wayfinding for multi-sports events (at least in 3 international multi-sports events).
• Excellent communication and team building skills.
• A "hands on" "can do" attitude with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Flexibility with travel when needed as this role will be split between North Carolina and the stadiums you’ll be working on.
