We are seeking a passionate professional to join our clients team as a Lead Quant Developer. The client is looking for an individual with extensive financial services experience.

Job Purpose

Based in London, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our client’s quantitative library. As the Lead Quant Developer, you will work on expanding existing features, take the lead in designing a new scripting language, and significantly improve the infrastructure of the quantitative systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead problem solver for technical challenges related to the quantitative systems. • Design, develop, and enhance quantitative models and infrastructure. • Lead the development of a new scripting language. • Maintain and improve DevOps practices for the quantitative systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• 7+ years of software development experience, with a focus on quantitative systems. • Strong DevOps experience and understanding of automation processes. • Solid understanding of the financial services industry and quantitative modelling. • Proven experience developing scripting languages. • Has worked with Monte Carlo simulations or AAD methods. • Proficiency in C++ programming language. • Strong interpersonal skills.
