Role: Lead Software Engineer / Technical Lead - Cloud Solutions (Angular) Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 (Depending on Experience) Location: Marylebone, London - Hybrid (2/3 days in the office per week)

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will:

• Lead the development and migration of a legacy platform into a full SaaS solution.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in front-end and back-end development.
• Design and implement scalable cloud-based architectures.
• Develop and optimise web applications with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Oversee Azure Cloud services and ensure efficient cloud resource management.
• Lead the direction of software solutions, incorporating AI-driven enhancements.
• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Manage release processes and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor team members.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.

About You

You have experience in:

Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure Cloud Services, SaaS architecture, cloud-based deployments.

Frontend Development: Advanced Angular (18+), TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Signal Store, AG Grid, Chart.js.

Web Technologies: HTML, CSS/SASS, CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Angular Material).

Backend Development: C#, .NET frameworks, Web API, Entity Framework.

Databases & Data Formats: SQL, JSON, XML, CSV.

Development Practices: Object-oriented programming, dependency injection, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Waterfall).

DevOps & Release Management: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, JIRA, Git, Postman.

Collaboration & Leadership: Team mentoring, code reviews, strategic planning.
