Who are the department and what is the role?

This role will work as part of the wider Learning and Development team, with a focus on training administration as well as providing support to the qualifications area within the department.

What will you be doing?

Working with the wider team on the overall learning administration for the firm via the learning management system, booking workshops, liaising with suppliers as required and maintaining our appraisal system, Clear Review.

  • Manage and process new starters - liaising with HR and communicate with wider L&D team
  • Update and maintain LCP’s appraisals platform - liaising with department contacts
  • Become proficient in the use of the learning management system LCPLearn for course administrationReport on DEI / Induction training and following up with non completers
  • Provide logistical support for learning sessions - booking rooms and refreshments, and preparation of training resources
  • Ensure invoices are managed and evaluation process is completed following learning events
  • Liaise with both LCP’ers, trainers and suppliers as required

Working with the Senior Qualifications Advisor, to offer a seamless service to students.

  • General study administration - with a focus on CFA - to include checking of invoices, credit card payments, updating study records and subscription renewal
  • Liaising with students as required to co-ordinate exam and tuition bookings
  • Administration in relation to apprenticeships as required including bi annual reporting

What skills, experience, and qualities do you need for this role?

  • Able to liaise professionally with both LCP’ers, and trainers, ensuring enquiries are dealt with courteously and efficiently
  • A professional, positive "can do" attitude and ability to take own initiative
  • Technical aptitude with good excel skills and experience of process improvement/administration skills
  • An interest in how Learning & Development can add value to LCP
  • Able to work effectively in a team but also self-motivated to work autonomously
  • Well organised, able to follow processes and demonstrate attention to detail in work
  • Able to be proactive in identifying issues that require action and improvements to approach
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and resilient; able to cope under pressure and deal with fluctuating workload
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
