L&D Development Programme Officer
  • Hourly Rate: PAYE £27.52, Umbrella £35.52
  • Location: Hybrid - Remote / City Hall, E16 2 days per week
  • Job Type: Contract (Ends 31/03/24)
  • Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dynamic L&D Development Programme Officer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing multiple projects with shifting priorities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and delivering key learning and development initiatives within the organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of learning and development activities.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to build effective relationships and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Utilise project management methodologies to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Independently handle the L&D team’s inbox, responding to queries and managing daily administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate procurement activities with shared service providers and manage contracts effectively.
  • Support the design of learning programs with providers, ensuring they meet organisational needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing learning programmes, including coordination of attendees, working with suppliers, and managing communications for promotion.
  • Strong ability to build working relationships and work independently, while also seeking advice and support when needed.
  • Some experience in project / programme management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to provide written briefings and deliver in-house presentations.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate learning programmes and provide insightful reports.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative programmes that align with organisational needs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities within a complex environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
