Learning Assistant/SEN | Paid Trial Days | South East London

A successful, all-inclusive Primary School in Lewisham, South East London are searching for a Learning Assistant/SEN to join their friendly, supportive, and successful team. This amazing Learning Support Assistant role will require you to work with a year child with various SEND/SEMH needs.

The ideal candidate for the Learning Assistant/SEN role will be supporting a year 3 child in a 1:1 setting. We would be delighted to receive applications from those who have successful graduated from university: studying Psychology, Education or English Degree. Education, Therapy, Psychological Research, Mental Health, Speech, and Language and many more!

Role: Learning Assistant/SEN

Contract: Full Time

Rate: £95 - £115 per day

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Location: SE12, Lewisham

Setting: Primary School

The ideal Learning Assistant/SEN:

• Provide support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs.
• To work alongside a supportive, friendly, and determined inclusion staff.
• To facilitate the differentiation of tasks for students.
• To work with small groups or individual students on specific tasks.

Standard Requirements Learning Assistant/ASD:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN.
• Experience working with challenging behaviour
• GCSE's (Including Maths or English)
• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) professional reference checks.
