Reed is looking for Learning Coaches to work in a well-established colleges in South London.Job Title: Learning CoachLocation: South London Salary: £14.83Contract: Temporary ongoing, full-time or part-timeRole Overview: The Colleges we work with are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Coaches to help within the classroom and work 1:1 with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to SEN students, focusing on their unique learning needs.
- Develop and implement tailored learning strategies to help students overcome challenges.
- Assist students with their academic work, including homework, projects, and exam preparation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Address any behavioural issues with patience and understanding.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and any interventions used.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience working with teenagers or young adults with SEN.
- Experience working in an educational setting
- An individual with both resilience and empathy
