A Global Sovereign Wealth Fund /SWF is currently looking to expand its Talent Team and is looking for an accomplished Senior Associate to be responsible for the SWF’s learning, development & programs.
The successful L&D Senior Associate will have extensive Talent Management and content delivery experience within the financial Service industry, as well as strong Financial Modelling skills. Experience of designing and organising financial/investments skills related training, and an understanding of fundamentals of Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance and major asset classes is essential.
The L&D Senior Associate will be responsible for the operations, communications, and logistics of learning and development programmes, speaker sessions, orientation and internship programs
Reporting to the Head of Talent you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
- Responsible for the operations and logistics for implementation of the technical training annual plan.
- Monitoring and maintains plans for team reporting requirements.
- Supporting the team in the communication plans and delivery on annual processes and delivers on assigned tasks associated with the process.
- Participating in the annual training analysis exercise by providing reports and training data and completes assigned tasks based on project plan.
- Participating in providing data and reports to support building a functional training budget.
- Participating in conducting the design, vendor selection and/or customization of in-house trainings and speaker sessions as assigned by line manager.
- Research all internal and external information sources to establish learning requirements and content, including consultation with subject matter experts within and external for assigned training programs.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with all external suppliers relevant to learning, development and talent processes.
- Responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of all technical programs including Analyst Development Program, Financial Modelling Program and all three levels of the CFA In-house Program.
- Responsible for the implementation and coordination of orientation programs for Emirati hires.
- Responsible for the implementation and coordination of internship programs.
- Participate in meetings with potential vendors to assess their offers.
- Research and keep up to date with market best practice in learning and development initiatives and trends.
The successful L&D Senior Associate will have extensive Talent Management experience including content delivery in the Financial Service industry, strong Financial Modelling skills. excellent English communication skills. Experience of designing and organising financial/investments skills related training.
