Job Summary:
Managing the yearly programme of all learning activities across Canada Life which support the development of a learning culture including workshops, eLearning, talent programmes, apprenticeship admin and diversity events.
This includes managing the operational processes, policies, systems and tracking of budgets. The role holder will run learning projects and lead the day-to-day co-ordination of learning programmes including logistics, liaison with key relationships, advertising and promotion. The role holder will be required to build trusted relationships with the Colleague Experience leadership team, People Strategy, with peers in Europe, external suppliers and internal stakeholders
They will be the expert on the learning module on SuccessFactors, championing it’s use, coaching others to use it and simplifying processes. This role will have a significant impact on the wider colleague experience by ensuring the smooth delivery of learning and development operations. Responsibilities:
1) Together with the colleague experience leadership team you will manage and implement the learning and developmental yearly programme. This includes face to face, remote and online learning as well as any internal apprenticeship programmes.2) To ensure effective processes are in place to manage all learning programmes and to maintain and update policies. Oversee the annual mandatory learning programme including any Global learning. Ensure records are kept and report regularly to key stakeholders .3) To be the subject matter expert in the administration of the SuccessFactors Learning module. Drive forward and implement continuous improvement to the module to ensure high confidence from colleagues in the performance of the tools. 4) Manage contracts and relationships with procurement ensuring contracts and engagement letters are in place with all our providers and that we maintain best practices in negotiation of contracts as well as ensuring we utilise the P2P system to its full potential 5) Oversee our internal channels and communications. 6) Own and manage all learning data within the team including the evaluation process - ensuring we review all learning on a regular basis and advise on ROI activities.
