We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about enhancing the educational journey of students and helping them reach their highest potential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an educational environment and possess the necessary qualifications to support a diverse range of students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Offer personalised support to individual pupils or small groups to enhance their educational and personal development.
- Aid in the creation and organisation of educational materials and classroom settings.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to track student progress and contribute to individualised learning strategies.
- Promote student autonomy, self-assurance, and active participation within the learning environment.
- Provide specialised support for students with additional educational needs, ensuring equitable learning opportunities.
- Act as a liaison among students, educators, and parents as needed.
- Uphold the school’s policies, including those related to safeguarding and confidentiality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an educational setting.
- Appropriate educational or related qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A patient and empathetic approach with a positive outlook on student growth.
- Teamwork skills, with the ability to work in harmony with teachers and school staff.
