Reed FE are working with Colleges and are recruiting for Learning support workers to start in September

Hours: Likely to be between 08:45am till 3:30pm/4:00pm (To be confirmed, FT/PT)Contract: Temporary (ongoing)Pay: £15.00 to £17.00 P/H (Dependant on experience)One of our Further Education colleges based in Harrow are currently looking for Learning Support Assistant’s for the new academic year. You will be working as part of the Inclusive Learning Team to provide additional learning support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities on mainstream programmes across college. The Inclusive Learning department provides one-to-one, workshops and in-class support for students with a wide range of needs on mainstream programmes. Students may need support with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) like Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), moderate learning difficulties, mental health, physical, sensory, health or medical needs. The department support a high number of students with Education Health and Care Plans.What we need from youTo be successful in the role, you will need:· Experience in a previous or similar role· GCSE or equivalent Maths or English· Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkIf you are interested, please send me a copy of your CV and I will be in touch in due course.
