Learning Support Assistant - Haywards Heath
This role is based in a lovely, rural location near Haywards Heath and is a specialist SEND provision, who are looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants to join their team!
It is a special school catering for boys from age six to twelve with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), including those with Asperger’s Syndrome and those with a diagnosis of ADHD.
Due to the location of this School, the ideal candidate will need to be a driver, as it is not accessible via Public Transport.
There are multiple positions available currently - both full and part time, so please enquire for more information.
We will accept applications from candidates with a range of experience - experience within an SEND setting is desirable but not essential and training can be provided. It would also be beneficial to have experience working with challenging behaviours so anyone from a youth or support worker background would be encouraged to apply. Whilst experience is not necessary, the ideal candidate must have a desire and passion for working with children with SEMH and complex needs.
